Help keep your child safe on every ride by attending this free Car Seat Safety Workshop. Led by a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, this hands-on class is designed to help parents, grandparents, caregivers, and anyone who transports children learn how to properly select, install, and use child safety seats.
Participants will gain practical knowledge about California’s child passenger safety laws, the different types of car seats—from infant seats to booster seats—and how to ensure children are safely secured for every stage of growth. The workshop also includes live demonstrations and hands-on training covering proper seat installation, safety belt positioning, and correct use of the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) system.
Whether you’re installing a new car seat, checking that your current seat is being used correctly, or simply want to improve your knowledge of child passenger safety, this workshop provides valuable information to help protect the children in your care.
