Sanae A. Ellis-Wiley was born on January 8, 1974, in Compton to her mother, Denice Montgomery, and father, Lewis Ellis. She is the oldest child of four. Sanae attended Centennial High School and Dorsey High School. Sanae, being an incredibly young teenage mother at 19 with two children, began her journey of survival and motherhood without the support of her children’s father. She eventually went to nursing school and got involved in nursing and later commercial bus driving training and received her commercial driver’s license, where she worked for over a decade until she reconnected with an old childhood friend by the name of Yusef-Andre Wiley. Yusef-Andre Wiley proposed to Sanae, and they were married on June 23, 2012, in the SF Bay Area, where Sanae relocated until 2016, during which time Sanae and Yusef would give birth to Amir S. Wiley, bringing their combined total of children to 5 boys and one girl.
Sanae, no longer working in the transportation field or nursing, found another niche in serving the community by volunteering at Oakland Food Giveaway and other related community work. Most of her volunteer work was supporting her husband’s work at Timelist by coordinating community events and fundraisers. After Sanae and Yusef’s son Amir was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, this was a turning point for Sanae to get more engaged in community work. She later renewed her nursing license and certificate to become a Professional Supervised Visitation Monitor. This resulted in her brainchild ToGether Time – A Family Reunification service.
Sanae is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Timelist Group, Inc. She has roles that extend from being an Administrative Supervisor to the Director and Business Owner of ToGether Time, LLC, which operates separately from her day job. Sanae has gained the reputation of being a go-getter, a visionary, an investor, an event planner, a boss lady, and an autism mom with a big heart for helping others, especially her family.
