Micheal B. Prather

Micheal Prather is employed at Costco Warehouse in Georgia, resident of Stockbridge GA. As a board member he is one of the co-founders of Timelist and the assistant director. Micheal has planned a very instrumental role in the formualtion of many of the program modules and establishing a presence in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has also played a key role in making connections in the community side by side with Andre Wiley the current Executive Director and co-founder of the Timelist Group.  In additon to being a father and grandfather, Micheal spends a lot of his time mentoring and being a support to many formerly incarcerated men.

Katey Gilbert

Katey Gilbert is a criminal defense attorney appointed over mostly life termed inmates inside the prison system. She goes in and out of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation serving clients at their parole consideration hearings. Her office is located in San Francisco CA. As a board member she serves as a legal advisor and liaison between the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in regards to programs, services and policy compliance.

Sampson J. Wiley

Father of Andre Wiley retired chartered engineer for Los Angeles School District. Sampson was the first member to implement the certificate program that allowed Andre to establish the self-help services within CDCR. Sampson is a well respected leader in South Los Angeles and the Church community.  For more than 60 years he has been a servant of the people, dedicated leader, a mentor, counselor and choir director. Today, he continues to be an advocate for change in the community and engaged member of the Timelist Group.

Gehad Massoud

Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and outreach worker and organizer for RISE Coalition in Fremont California. Have been engaged in social justice issues since college and worked as intern for Tayba Foundation to assist the incarcerated students. Gehad is currently works for the Alameda County Social Service Agency as an Eligibility Services Technician.

Arshad Syed  (VACANT)

Arshad is a seasoned technologist with over twenty-five years of experience in technology and general team management, software architecture, design, and deployment. He have a diverse technical and management expertise spanning several domains including telecommunications, cable broadcasting, cable advertising, commercial airline operations, publishing, medical devices manufacturing, venture capital, and consumer finance.

One of his projects uses an NLP engine to simplify complex data entry interfaces for bookkeeping and tax preparation service providers.

After spending several years in general and technical management, Arshad have returned to software engineering. Since 2010 he have become proficient in designing and developing web applications using state art of software tools and frameworks. As a member of Timelist Arshad is the key Technology advisor for our IT programs and tech support solutions.

Sgt. Steve Mendez

Sgt. Mendez was born and raised in Union City. He attended Searles Elementary, Barnard White Middle, and James Logan High School. Sgt. Mendez began his career at the Union City Police Department as Volunteer Police Explorer in 1986. He was hired as a full time cadet in 1989, a Prisoner Transport Officer (PTO) in 1991, and as a Police Officer in 1997. During his career, Sgt. Mendez has been a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI), Hostage Negotiator (HNT), SWAT Team Member, Bicycle Patrol Instructor, Police Explorer Advisor, and is currently the Sergeant of the Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Unit (C.O.P.P.S). As an officer, his assignments included Patrol, Union Landing C.O.P.P.S., the Decoto District C.O.P.P.S. Officer, and Investigations. As the current supervisor of the C.O.P.P.S. unit, this includes overseeing the Logan School Resource Officer (SRO) and the officers assigned to Union Landing. Sgt. Mendez has also been a member of the board of directors for Centro De Servicios since 2003. When he is not at work, Sgt. Mendez enjoys spending time with his family and his pets. As a hobby, Sgt. Mendez rebuilds and restores antique bicycles.

Pastor Bryan Murphy

Pastor Murphy is a long time member of SBCC. He was a volunteer with the youth ministry for 6 years before beginning his theological education at Fuller Theological Seminary. Pastor Murphy received his Masters of Divinity degree from Fuller in September of 2008. He has been on the Pastoral Staff since 2006, previously serving as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor prior to accepting his current call in the fall of 2010.

Pastor Murphy has been married to his beautiful and loving wife Stacy for twelve years. They have three wonderful children: Shalice, Eric and Darrion and one grandchild: Braylon.  His primary interest outside of his family and ministry are bass fishing and music production.
